Landscape Architecture Graduate Program

Program of Study

Each student entering the MSLA will begin their graduate education by taking four core classes within the Landscape Architecture program:

Philosophy and Theory in Landscape Architecture
Methodology and Communication in Landscape Architecture
The Northern Rocky Mountain Regional Landscape
Cultural Interpretation of the Regional Landscape

Students will select other graduate courses offered throughout the university to complement their degree program and research/specialization interests. A minimum of 32 credit hours is required to complete the graduate degree. In the program at WSU Spokane's IDI, students from Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, and Architecture share a common core of 6-to-8 credits.
