Landscape Architecture Students
The Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture is comprised of two academic programs. The horticulture and landscape architecture programs are two of the larger programs in WSU's College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences. Horticulture was one of the first agricultural programs established at WSU. The landscape architecture program also had an early beginning at WSU when landscape gardening was offered in 1893. Today the university is one of 45 schools in the U.S. and Canada whose landscape architecture program is fully accredited by the American Society of Landscape Architects.
